...

No time left. There's...

I'm sorry, Vincent.

Department employees. A few announcements. First, you might as well all get to know this guy here at [livejournal.com profile] mercyrule, as he is my desk candy and will handle all complaints. He's good with people. Feel free to tell him any little thing.

Secondly, the foray into the Shinra building will be this afternoon, unless anyone has strenuous objections. It's possible the building is completely useless as a headquarters because of flood damages, but there is still equipment and medical supplies inside that could be put to use elsewhere. I've observed several types of monsters inside, there may be others. Please exercise discretion. There's no point in exterminating everything if the building itself turns out to be unusable. I suggest taking along curative items just in case, which you may speak to Valeria about. You're all professionals so I'm not going to tell you to split into teams or choose partners, just keep yourselves safe. Remember this little expedition is strictly voluntary, as all contracts are.

Thirdly, current employee list:
Adam
Xaldin
Leon
Rouge
Sasuke
Citrine
Valeria

If I missed anyone, you'll need a permission number from the professor to join the class.

So, the first assignment is... Shinra?

[identity profile] el-legendaire.livejournal.com 2008-06-18 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep. Consider it a trial run. It'll be paid out like a real contract, of course.

[identity profile] leo-nine.livejournal.com 2008-06-18 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll be there.

Finally, something to do.

[identity profile] el-legendaire.livejournal.com 2008-06-18 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I can only hope it meets your expectations, miss Citrine. There is a lot left in that building that should be recovered for the good of the city.

[identity profile] citrinitas-668.livejournal.com 2008-06-18 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Anything is better than sitting around doing nothing. You can expect me to recover all that can be found.

[identity profile] rlyahero.livejournal.com 2008-06-18 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Got it.

I'll be counting on you if we run into something unexpected, mister immortal.

... What.

THIS MEANS COUCH FOREVER RITE?

[identity profile] el-legendaire.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
I think the proper response is 'thank you, Duke, for securing me the easiest and most convenient job in the entirety of Purgatorium, which will both pay me and allow me to go up on the Upper Level.'

. . .

I have no particular objections. I'm not about to allow something simple such as sutured lacerations prevent me from attending.

The arm is doing well enough, and failing that, Valeria has filled my stomach with enough potion to drown a small city. I imagine that I will be healed to a reasonable standard within a short amount of time.

[identity profile] el-legendaire.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
Alright. You know your own limits better than I do. Don't strain yourself unneccessarily, though.

[identity profile] focusedly.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
Understood.

Recover anything that looks salvageable? Or do we have priorities?

[identity profile] el-legendaire.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Waste not want not, as the saying goes. Medical supplies, weapons and ammunition, and lab equipment would be preferable priorities, but I'm not going to tell you to leave something behind you think could hold a value.

Leave the records. I will deal with those myself.
