Preliminary evidence suggests that this 'Purgatorium' is exactly what everyone claims it is, rather than some kind of drug induced illusion or simulation. To the best of my knowledge, there is no rival technology capable of pulling off such an elaborate construct, and ShinRa surely wouldn't waste the time on me if I had been marked for termination. Still, unable to yet rule out some kind of hallucinogenic effect to an undetermined end. Standard protocols in effect until further conclusions can be drawn and confirmed. Any orders from the 'ShinRa Company' operating here and/or its employees or affiliates will be subject to personal discretion in regards to compliance.
Inventory looks bleak. Scalpel, pen, empty standard issue and three-and-a-half vials of unstable ichor left. Six limited range explosives ready, no timer, estimated damage not strong enough to do anything but slow down the nastier monsters crawling around. Still searching for better materials.
Contact made with multiple subjects, four of which claim to be Turks. 'Amarissa' appears relatively normal and keeping with the personality I recall, and has claimed the unconfirmed presence of Reno, Rude, Tseng, Rod, Zoe, Cissnei, and Ondrea, as well as SOLDIER Zack Fair and Rufus ShinRa. More information required about the girl claiming to be Elena-from-the-future. 'Valeria' is evidently under the effect of some kind of short term status effect, but recalled my title in her last communication. 'Veld'...

Acquisition of subject 'Veld' is priority. Subject is either drugged or really goddamn drunk, and mentioned the presence of one Vincent Valentine, former Department employee officially declared dead quite a few years ago. Confirmation of this individual's existence and true identity a secondary priority. The use of his name and likeness could potentially compromise Arte-- Veld's better judgment.
